On behalf of the HRLSC’s Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce the appointment of two new Board Members, Kraymr Grenke and Rachel Aarons.
In their previous governance roles, Kraymr and Rachel have served local communities and contributed to broader policy discussions in support of marginalized and equity-seeking communities.
Kraymr brings experience working with communities in Northern Ontario, including as Economic Development Officer for the Wabun Tribal Council and sits on a number of boards, influencing healthcare, policing, education, and economic policy through direct engagement with provincial ministries and senior decision-makers.
Rachel has an extensive record of community involvement supporting local not-for-profits. She has also provided strategic advice to the Province of Ontario on youth employment and entrepreneurship, and brings a strong commitment to advancing equitable access to opportunity through her governance work.
We look forward to the perspectives Rachel and Kraymr will bring, including in the areas of stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and strategic direction.
As we welcome these two new members to the HRSLC, we also bid farewell to Gary Pieters and Martial Moreau who have concluded their terms. We are grateful for the dedication and leadership they have provided during their time with the HRLSC.
