Dedicated to diversity and accessibility, Bryan is eager to contribute his professional expertise and lived experience to advance the Board’s work with the HRLSC. As a member of the 2SLGBTQI+ community, Bryan is passionate about advancing safer, more inclusive spaces for all equity-seeking people. His appointment comes at a pivotal time for the HRLSC, following the launch of its Strategic Plan: Realizing Human Rights Together, Empowering Access to Justice. The HRLSC’s Board plays an essential role guiding the direction, ensuring accountability and supporting the Centre in meeting its important goals.
Each year, the HRLSC responds to well over 20,000 inquiries and provides thousands of Ontarians with legal advice, mediation support and representation before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. The HRLSC’s work is critical in ensuring access to justice, advancing equity and protecting human rights in the province. We look forward to leveraging Bryan’s professional expertise and lived experience as the HRLSC works to champion human rights and strengthen its commitment to human rights justice for all Ontarians.
